BC Bird: The situation is very tense in the Green Zone between the two Shiite leaders; Mr. Al Hakim (Al Majlis) and Mr. Al Jafari ( Al Da’wa).

The US has been pressing Mr. Al Hakim to drop Mr. Al Jafari’s nomination to favor the candidacy of Mr. Abdul Mahdi of Al Majlis who happened to be an Iran’s favorite.
